It may interest y'all to know that I have merged my Two Moons archive of roleplay logs in with my personal archive, so now I have one big honking archive of RP logs, right here.
This includes Willowholt logs, which run up through the destruction of the Willowholt and Rillwhisper and several other Willowholters going to live at Lostholt with Cutter's tribe.
Anybody get a yen to re-read 'em at any point, feel free! The archive's on Wordpress so you should be able to comment on any pertinent pages, aside from the logs themselves, which are still text files.
Enjoy. :)

I've been working on overhauling annathepiper.org into a Wordpress site, and I'm mentioning that here because there's Willowholt-specific content that I still have to do this day.
If you go to the site now, you can find Willowholt-specific posts here:
http://www.annathepiper.org/category/mush/willowholt/
And I'll eventually be moving my archive of Two Moons MUSH logs into the same archive as the rest of my logs, so if any of y'all ever get a chance to re-read old Willowholt logs, I'll have 'em. :)

So *cough* it's been quite awhile since I wore pointed ears or lived in a tree, MU*-wise, and most of y'all I haven't been able to plug together with my memories of Willowholt, so... who'd you play when you were there?
Is anyone still playing an EQ-based MU*?
Where else do you play?
I'm Ania on FiranMUX, if you decide to take a gander.

Two Moons logs archive brought back online

Just as a general FYI, I have reinstated the TM logs archive which lives at http://www.twomoonsmush.org/logs. This is to be part of a slow effort on my part to get something of a TM page back online, even if it's just something that serves as an archive and nostalgia site. :)
Right now all that I've brought back online is the logs, but they should work now, and all the main logs-related links off that index page should work. Feel free to browse 'em, y'all. Also, anybody with a bit of time who wants to help me by testing the page and seeing if you can break it by futzing with the URL, that would be appreciated. That'd help me find any holes in the code I might need to patch up. Thanks in advance!

Two Moons mailing lists retired

This is really rather way after the fact, but as a general FYI to any and all former Two Moons types out there listening in:
I have shut down the various Two Moons-related lists that murkworks.net has been hosting. I still have the archives for said lists, but since the game is pretty much toast at this point, the lists are serving no purpose except to be spam traps. This includes the general TM-related lists (tm-wiz, tm-staff, tm-chiefs, tm-web, and twomoons-l) as well as the tribal lists that I was hosting (willowholt-l, lostholt-l, and scattered-l).
Please pass the word to anybody who you think needs to know.

So, Rill, and others... what's the scoop with Two Moons MUSH these days? I checked in on the web site after, you know, years of negligence, and saw a terse message about it not being available for play and perhaps moving and all the database stuff is gone and so forth. Is it done for at last, then?
I was bummed out at least as much about not being able to (again, years after she posted about them, sigh) scope out the database of character info mentioned previously. (Yes, I only just now saw the emails Dawn posted last year from and about my character. Nostalgia, oh boy.)
Anyway. Sorry to wake anyone's slumber after a year and change. I just reread my Elfquest books the other week and, you know.

Because I am Chieftess Posts-a-Lot today, I wanted to alert y'all to my having added a couple of posts to the Community memories. These are viewable here.
Under the category Sunholt, I have added the post with a rough timeline of Sunholt RP events. It also includes stuff involving Wayfound and the Vraeyans, before Rill and her party go in search of her.
Under the category Willowholt, I have added the post with last known whereabouts of assorted Willowholters.
Feel free to consult these for reference if you need 'em!

Addendum on Riverholt characters and RP

It occurs to me that if anyone wants to take over major characters at Riverholt, such as the chieftain and his sister, and perhaps also assorted members of the tribe's council (who are almost more powerful than the chieftain in terms of running the tribe), then we could do a separate RP thread involving Splinterfire coming to the Riverholt. As Splinterfire is
aerialscribe's character and this would fill in important backstory for what's been going on with him, that'd be good. :) Anybody interested in doing that?
Also, anyone with a no-longer-played TM alt who might conceivably have shown up at Riverholt at some point could also jump in on such a side plot.
I myself would be interested in seeing this backstory developed a bit as it would help flesh out Riverholt, which is only a skeleton concept right now in my head. I know that it's located somewhere in the Forevergreen jungle on the northern part of Sunholt, and as per its name, it's situated very near a river. But it's a lesser tributary of the greater river called "High Ones' Tears" according to the map in the Wolfrider's Guide, and the Holt itself is quite secluded and jealously guarded from all outside detection. There is very heavy treetop coverage overhead, possibly enhanced by treeshaping, and very possibly also rockshaping that's been done to tuck the Holt in amongst suitable hillocks and cliffs around the river. It is a tribe made up of refugees from many other tribes, so the tribal customs are very much a mishmash. There are Wolfriders and elves without wolf-blood there. There are ex-Gliders and possibly even ex-Underworlders. The tribal council is a means to try to bring all the disparate elves under a cohesive leadership, though they also have a chieftain out of deference to many tribes' familiarity with such a power figure.
